La Vida Vegas

Note to tourists: Just because you are in a place also known as Sin City does not mean street signs are optional. We do expect you to cross the street correctly and drive the way the arrow points on One Ways. Just sayin'.

new stuff

It's been a busy autumn so far! Club Tattoo was doing our thing at the Las Vegas Tattoo Convention in the beginning of October. Big cheers for Joni our studio manager who was tattooed for 9 hours straight by two of our artists simultaneously. They gave her a giant trophy, one I think she fairly deserved! That was followed up by a visit from Bob Tyrrell to Club Tattoo, who we were lucky enough to get to watch work with us and have a private lecture with. Thanks Sean! We have an amazing boss and I feel spoiled most of the time. (What a nice change from the past 13 years of working for other kinds of people!) The portrait that's posted was done by Bob Tyrrell, just in case you are not familiar with his work.
Now that the excitement of the convention time is over, we are all hard at work back in the Miracle Mile Mall at Planet Hollywood. What's next?... Halloween in Vegas! I can't wait for the people watching on freak night! I will be armed with my camera in hand!

YES!

I am now working at Club Tattoo in Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile shopping mall :) I'm thrilled to have this place to call my new home! I start tonight, 5-midnight and I'll find out the rest of my schedule then. ClubTattoo.com~ great artists, beautiful studio, clothes and the biggest selection of body jewelry I've seen yet. Check out the site, or the studio if you're in town!

Getting Healthy

So, I've recently been trying to make some changes regarding being healthier. Why? Because I'm getting old...er. And this sh*t's for the birds! While I still can't get a grip on giving up meat entirely, I have decided to go organic. Yay for organic! The thing is you don't notice much when you start. It's when you stop that you feel kind of funny. I guess that means its working. I did find this great coconut milk~mango~peach drink in the organic section of the supermarket. Called Vita Coco, or something like that, I really don't know HOW I ever lived without knowing about this beverage.
It has a ton of potassium and supposedly has more/or better electrolytes than Gatorade. I'm not really sure how those electrolytes work, but its definitely better than the G2 I've been working with. Do you have any suggestions of favorite healthy stuff? I'd LOVE to hear them!
Now, pass me that bottle of rum, would ya?
